I’m Jessica DeMoss, a wedding planner based in Cumberland, Maryland, helping couples create meaningful, well-organized celebrations throughout Western Maryland and surrounding areas.
I started Petals Planners with a simple goal: to help couples feel calm, confident and fully present on their wedding day without feeling responsible for every detail happening behind the scenes.
My focus is simple — you should be able to experience your wedding day, not spend it managing one.
How It All Started
What began as helping friends and family with weddings naturally grew into something more. From setting up décor and keeping track of timelines to stepping in wherever something needed attention, I found myself drawn to the behind-the-scenes side of celebrations.
I loved being the person who could keep things moving while everyone else focused on enjoying the moment. Seeing a couple relax and actually experience their wedding because they knew someone else was watching the details showed me how valuable that support can be.
Today, Petals Planners offers wedding-day management, wedding-weekend coordination and planning support designed to bring more organization, clarity and confidence to the planning process.

Petals Planners is led by me, but some weddings simply need more than one person behind the scenes. For larger guest counts, multiple spaces, transportation logistics, extensive setup or full wedding weekends, additional support can be added when appropriate.
This allows the level of staffing to match the actual needs of your celebration while I remain your primary planning and coordination point of contact.
