Sarah & Anthony
A Romantic Fall Wedding at Daydream
Love, Family & Thoughtful Details
Sarah and Anthony celebrated their October wedding at Daydream in Ridgeley, West Virginia, surrounded by family, friends, and meaningful personal touches.
From a carefully timed ceremony entrance to a lively reception filled with music and dancing, their wedding was a beautiful reflection of the moments that mattered most to them.
Petals Planners provided rehearsal and wedding-day coordination, bringing together the timeline, wedding party, vendors, and behind-the-scenes details throughout the celebration.
Preparing for the Perfect Entrance
Coordination began with an approximately two-hour ceremony rehearsal. Jessica worked with the wedding party to practice their processional, positioning, and timing.
Sarah wanted her entrance to begin at a particular moment in her chosen song, so the timing was practiced carefully to match the lyrics.
Because the wedding party would sit in reserved aisle seats rather than stand at the front, everyone also practiced exactly where to go during the ceremony.
Bringing the Details Together
Jessica arrived at Daydream at 1:30 PM and began preparing the ceremony and reception spaces alongside the family and vendor team.
She helped set up the ceremony arch and cupcake table, straightened reception tables, checked in with vendors, and prepared the finishing touches.
She also placed tealights into the water-filled centerpieces shortly before the ceremony so everything would be ready when guests entered.
As photography continued, Jessica helped locate family members for first-look photos and kept the ceremony and reception areas clear while important moments were being captured.
Every Moment, Right on Cue
Before the ceremony, guests received flower petals to toss during the newlyweds' recessional, along with instructions about when to use them.
Jessica prepared the wedding party lineup, protected the reserved aisle seating, and coordinated the processional with the music cues practiced at rehearsal.
She also prepared the microphone and stand for Ashley, Sarah's sister and maid of honor, who officiated the ceremony.
The result was a ceremony filled with thoughtful details, meaningful music, and a memorable celebration of the couple.
From Cocktail Hour to the Dance Floor
As guests enjoyed cocktail hour and the couple completed portraits, Jessica continued working behind the scenes.
She replenished ice, distributed wedding koozies, coordinated the grand entrance with the DJ, and guided the reception timeline through dinner, dances, and toasts.
Before coverage ended, she helped bring guests onto the dance floor so the photographer could capture a lively celebration.
